Welcome to the homepage of a family of Mr. Son. I am Son Chanthoeun, you can call me Son. I am a university-educated English, and Khmer speaking guide, licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Tourism. I would like to declare that I am not a travel agency; I am a local tour guide. Also I have been a taxi driver and guide for many years in Angkor and around Siem Reap. What makes you interest in using my service? I worked with Australian archeologists in 2003. They were studying and investigating about Angkor region. I had a great chance to learn a bit about it. I can tell that it was quite interesting experiences that I had done. Nowadays I change the job to be a tour guide as I see that there are lot of demands in tourism. And tourists need a person who knows the place very well. I was born here in Siem Reap and have travellled all the places in Cambodia.

My brief program: start early to see temple at 6 am from the hotel to see temples in quiet condition that you can absorb the sound of many different birds. Get back to the hotel at 9 am to have breakfast at the hotel. Relax in the hotel. At 3pm we start again to see temples before sunset. This way is to avoid the crowd and heats.
